Open the carton box and take out your Bike carefully. The package has following items:

Bike Frame and Rear Wheel ready Assembled with Handlebars and wire Harness and controls attached. Battery Charger, Pedals, Saddle, Front Wheel & Head Light

Remove all zip ties and packing material. Attention: be careful when it comes to the edge of frame, tire and rim.

Follow steps to assemble your Bike!

Your safety is our number one priority. As such, if at any point during the assembly (including right now!), if you are unsure of your ability to assemble the bike in a safe fashion, we strongly suggest taking it to your local bike shop, where they will be able to safely complete the process, while also checking for anything that may have loosened up during transit and tuning specific sytems to your riding ability and preference.

TOOLS NEEDED FOR ASSEMBLY:

Scissors
13mm crescent wrench
15mm crescent wrench
4mm Allen key (provided)
Tire pump
Phillips screwdriver (for headlight lens grill)

Install the Handle Bars

When moving bars be careful not to pull right brake lever closed until the front wheel has been installed.

Using the supplied 4mm Allen wrench, loosen the 2 stem pinch bolts (A) and rotate the stem 180 degrees so the 4 handlebar clamp bolts are facing forward.

You may also need to very slightly loosen the center bolt of the stem (C) to turn the neck. Remove the dust cap to access the bolt. Please be sure to retighten center bolt (C) after rotating the stem forward. Tighten snug plus an extra half turn. Replace dust cap.

Tighten the pinch bolts (A) snug plus a 1/4 turn to lock the stem in place. Next, remove the 4 Allen bolts (B) and gently remove front of handlebar clamp. Center handlebars into rear clamp and reinstall front clamp using 4 bolts removed from prior step. Tighten just enough to hold bars in place. Continue to installation of front wheel.

After you have installed wheel, stand over bike and Adjust handlebar angle to your personal comfort level. Fasten the 4 handlebar clamp bolts in an X pattern so they are snug plus 1/4 turn.

MAKE SURE HANDLEBARS ARE SECURE. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

Install the Front Wheel

Loosen front axle nuts and slide washer and lock tab out towards loose nut. Align the front brake disc into center of front brake pads and lower front forks down onto axle. Rotate lock tab to the one o-clock position and insert lock tab into hole on fork. Tighten front axle nuts by hand.

Make sure the brake disc is placed in the center of caliper gap and front wheel can rotate freely without any noise.
When the brake disc is not in the gap, DO NOT pull brake lever. Doing so will result in the piston closing and require the brakes be properly recalibrated.

Slowly depress right brake lever until firm. Tighten front axle cap nuts with 15mm wrench until snug. Add extra ¼ turn. Release brake lever.

Install the Head Light

Before Installing Head Light, Use a 13mm wrench to remove and install side bolts and washers to install head light. Rubber washers fit between headlamp housing and mounting brackets. Adjust height and angle, then fasten all the bolts. Connect the light power cable.

Install the Pedals

Use the pedal marked with an “L” on the left side and the right pedal marked with an “R” on the right side (side with drivetrain gears). The right-side pedal has a right-hand thread (removes counter clockwise, installs clockwise); the left side pedal has a left-hand thread (removes clockwise, installs counter clockwise). Be careful to not cross thread the pedals. Tighten with a 15mm wrench.

Insert, Remove or Adjust Saddle Height

Open Clamp lever and insert seat post into seat post tube. Position to desired height and close clamp. If seat post rotates, open clamp and twist one turn clockwise while holding back nut. Close again. Recheck for rotation. Repeat process again if necessary.

You will likely also have to tighten the bolt to assure the quick release mechanism is secure enough when locked.

Uninstall & Install Battery

To access the battery, begin by removing the two lower 4mm Allen screws on the driver side (left side) tank cover.
To remove battery, use the same 4mm Allen Key to remove the 4 bolts on the battery. Unplug both connectors at the front of the battery and carefully pull out.

Charge the Battery before Your First Ride

*On the charger adapter, the red light stands for charging, while the green light stands for charging finished.

Make sure to charge your battery to full capacity before your first ride. On the lower left side tank, remove charge port cap and insert charger plug. Plug charger into wall and begin charging (red light will turn on). When the battery is fully charged, the charger status light will turn from Red to Green. Unplug charger and replace charge port cap. The charger will stop charging and enter trickle charge mode when full, but we don’t recommend leaving the charger continuously hooked up when not in use.

Some Battery Tips

  • Lithium battery capacity drops down with the number of times they’ve been used. Our battery provides 600~800 charging cycles.
  • Stay away from extreme environments. The most suitable temperature for battery operation is between
14°F  ~ 113°F or -10°C to 45°C Do not get too hot, get near fire or flammable liquids and prevent the battery from being dropped and from getting wet. Do not insert any metal objects into the battery.
  • The battery indicator bar on LCD display is sometimes slightly inaccurate. If you want to get a more accurate indication, try to run the battery down completely then re-charge it completely to full. The Bicycle Management System (BMS) will reset the indicator randomly.
  • Frequent rapid accelerating and braking or hilly terrain will drain your battery much more quickly than you expected. Should you be concerned about range and think you don’t have enough battery, accelerate the throttle more gently or reduce the Power Assist PAS to extend your range. We suggest getting a feel for your battery’s life related to your specific riding habits before expecting a certain range.
  • 8 hours not using the battery still consumes around 5% battery capacity just to stand by and support BMS.
  • If you are not going to use the battery for long periods of time, take the battery out of your BIKE, and store it with 50% battery left. Do not use battery when it has less than 10% capacity left.
  • Our bike is waterproof but only splash proof. Please do not put the bike in water deeper than 7.0 inch, otherwise the controller box runs the risk of getting mouldy.
  • If you keep charging your battery for more than 12hrs but it does not show completely full, stop charging and contact us as soon as possible.

Power ON/OFF your battery

Beside the charging port, you’ll find a separate switch to power ON/OFF your battery. Make sure switch on before your ride, and off after ride. It also helps protect the battery from draining itself.

Head Light Control

On the handle bar, there is a separate switch for head light.

Push the button down to:
Upside: I : Low Beam
Downside:  II : High Beam
Don’t forget to switch off the light and battery when you finish riding. This operation helps a lot with your battery lifetime.

Troubleshooting

If there are errors about the electronic control system, the error code will appear automatically.

Error Code Definition Solution

1

Current error or MOS damaged

Replace controller

2

Throttle Abnormality

Disconnect throttle wire (located in controller box, or in front of handle bar if the bike has water proof quick release connector) to see whether the ERROR code disappears. If disappear, replace throttle.

3

Motor Abnormality

Re-connect motor wire(located underneath chain stay at right side). If still doesn’t work, replace a new motor.

4

Motor Hall Abnormality

Contact with seller, return full rear wheel to replace a motor rotor.

5

Brake Abnormality

Disconnect 2 brake lever wires Disconnect all wires (brake lever, display, throttle, and motor) then reconnect. Check all connectors are in good connection.

(located in front of handle bar to see whether the ERROR code disappears. If yes, replace the brake lever and reconnect brake lever wire to controller.

6

Under voltage

Fully charge the battery

7

Motor stalling

Do not block motor from rotating freely

8

communication controller receiving error

Disconnect all wires (brake lever, display, throttle, and motor) then reconnect. Check all connectors are in good connection.

9

communication display receiving error
